TRI-COUNTY FAMILY CARE CENTER RECEIVES GRANTS FOR COVID-19 ASSISTANCE

Tri-County Family Care Center is pleased to announce it has received a grant from Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation and Black Hills Energy. These funds will support people in Otero, Bent and Crowley counties experiencing difficulties because of COVID-19. Those affected by layoffs, hours cut, struggling to buy food and pay for basic living expenses such as: rent, utilities, vehicle repair, medical or dental services will be eligible to receive a one-time emergency assistance. TCFCC’s Family Support Services Case Manager will assist people in enrolling in healthcare coverage and connecting to services for medical or dental, food assistance, budgeting, utilities and set goals to become self-reliant and stable.
Answer all questions on the Intake Questionnaire that is on our website, www.tricountyfamilycenter.org or pick up from our foyer area or office at 512 ½ N Main, Rocky Ford, CO.
Give a complete explanation of the reason help is being requested. It must include the following: A letter from employer that hours were reduced or job lost due to COVID-19, which resulted in a loss or reduction of income.
A copy of check stub before reduction of income and one after COVID-19 affliction may be requested for income verification. Other documents needed:
Drivers’ License/ID for applicant
Names and birthdates for all household members
When applying for utility assistance, please include:
Current bill or Shut-Off notice (must be in household member’s name)

Tri-County Family Care Center (TCFCC) was established in May 1995 as a Resource & Referral agency.
TCFCC coordinates 12 programs and multiple services. We network with other agencies to assist people in getting the help and support they need. TCFCC serves as a networking and coordinating center to connect the various services and resources for better utilization by the communities of Bent, Otero and Crowley Counties.
