Help Wanted/Job Announcement

Otero County has an opening for Road and Bridge Crewman. The position is full time and performs a variety of work in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of public work structures.

Graduation from a high school or GED, and 1 year experience. Post-offer employment physical and drug screen required. 

Excellent benefit package, salary range $2749 to $3276/month.

Valid State Driver’s License and Commercial Driver’s License, minimum Class A CDL certification.

Employee has 90 days from the date of hire to obtain a Class A permit certification (at employee’s expense). If at the end of one year the employee still has not obtained a Class A (CDL) certification, the employee may be terminated.
