High Winds Expected

The National Weather Service of Pueblo has Issued a High Wind Watch...

Strong to Potentially Damaging Winds Across the Plains Today...

Strong northerly winds are expected to develop around mid morning and continue through early to mid afternoon today

across the eastern plains, with the strongest winds expected closer to the Colorado and Kansas border.

At this time, expect winds to gust to 45 to 55 mph, with a few isolated gusts up to 60 mph. 

Additionally, areas of blowing dust may cause reduced visibility at times.
