The Friends of the Rocky Ford Historical Museum together with The Rocky Ford Chamber of Commerce Invite you to a Ribbon Cutting on April 23rd at 1pm for the First School House in Rocky Ford, built in 1877 and was relocated to its current location of 407 North 12th Street in Rocky Ford.
Valley Wide Health Systems, Inc. has graciously donated the Little White School House" to the Friends of the Rocky Ford Historical Museum. The Friends plan on restoring the School to its orginal condition.

About White School House:
The White School House was built in 1877 as the first school in the Rocky Ford Township of what was then West Bent County School District. The building was also used as a government and community building. It was moved to the present location in 1898
