Tony Barcelo Hernandez

Tony B. Hernandez, Jr., 67, of La Junta, passed away on April 25, 2021 in Colorado Springs. He was born on August 21, 1953 in La Junta to Tony B. Sr. & Ida V. (Archuleta) Hernandez.

Tony loved to fish and being in the outdoors. Absolutely loved the outdoor life; fishing, camping, hiking and was a ‘true momma’s boy’. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends forever missed eternally loved.

He is survived by his son, Tony B. (Roberta) Hernandez, III; sisters, Alma (Arthur) Gutierrez, Sr., Jean Romero, and Sandra Ruybal; brothers, Jimmy (Betty) Gonzales, Benny (Lupe) Gonzales, Ruben (Lydia) Gonzales, and Kenny Sandoval; ex-wife Kathy (Salas) Hernandez, and several nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Gonzales. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Memorial service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
