Cinco De Mayo - Best Lowrider
PJ Mondragon Memorial Award Winner
Sluggo Vigil accepts the Cinco De Mayo Car Show Award for Best Lowrider. Event Coordinators Mike Salas, Owner of C&M Auto Detail, and Chuck Mondragon with Wicked Attractions Car Club did a great job presenting many awards and prizes throughout the day.
The winning car had silver leaf and metal flake details in the interior, including the glove box and dash trim.
THATS NOT WET!
This paintwork gives new definition to layers of depth and pictures don't do it justice. In person the water droplet effect is so believable it looks like the car needs dried after a wash.
Even the hood's reflection in the windshield shimmers with metal flake.
Vigil's 1966 Impala Convertible is decked out on the rear deck too. This bodystyle has large body panels with plenty of room for a dripping silver paintjob.
A clean and practical interior that fits the entire family is a feature Impalas are known for...
But one as clean and detailed as Vigil's is a rare thing. The car was truly deserving of both awards.
