Yesterday (Saturday, 5/15/2021) the second amendment to PHO 20-38 went into effect, which has some BIG CHANGES.  A summary of the changes are as follows:

May mask mandate fact sheet.pdf - Google Drive

ü  Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks in most settings.

ü  Section I.A.a: children can remove masks in a classroom, cohort, or other group setting where the staff whose primary responsibility is education or childcare have provided proof of full vaccination to employer.

ü  Section I.A.c:  Congregate care settings may remove masks in accordance with CMS guidance.

ü  Section I.C.2.:  added new paragraph (b) authorizing no mask or distancing requirements for indoor gatherings where the event operator/owner is requiring proof of vaccination, or for those with exemptions from vaccination, or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the prior 72 hours.

ü  Section I.D:  repealed the outdoor event requirements.

ü  Section I.D:  authorized outdoor-only graduations for schools that are closed to in-person learning.

For more specifics on the above listed changes, I have attached a copy of the amended PHO and an announcement from the Governor’s Office.
