LAS ANIMAS CLASS OF 2021 Struck with Tragedy-Ceremony Accented by Lightning Storm and Sorrow & Bravery

High School Graduation Season Coincides with the Southeast Colorado Severe Weather Season, But that Held Little Matter to the Las Animas Community. 

The Las Animas High School Graduating Class of 2021 Braved the Storm May 16, 2021 to Hold a Heartfelt Ceremony that was a Celebration Accented by the Tragedy of the Loss of a Classmate.

Las Animas School District: "The graduates decided that instead of moving the ceremony where there would be a limited number of people; they wanted to do a very quick graduation, so thank you for joining us in celebrating the class of 2021."
