Ernesto was born in La Junta, CO on May 20, 1972, a son of Ernesto Louis Apodaca, II and Cecilia Diane (Perez) Apodaca.

He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish in La Junta, CO.

He is survived by:

Daughter Leah, wife of Augustine Hernandez, of Amarillo, TX;

Brother Paul Anthony - Trujillo, of La Junta, CO;
Brother Anthony, husband of Christy Apodaca, of Rocky Ford, CO;
Sister Monica Apodaca, of La Junta, CO.
