"At 1238 today we responded to the parking lot by First National Bank in the 400 blk of Colorado. Upon arrival heavy fire and smoke was showing in the engine compartment and cab.
Chief 31 arrived and assumed command. Eng 1 arrived and pulled a 1 3/4 cross lay for fire attack. Aggressive knock down and some overhaul was completed. Cause of the fire was determined to be possible electrical issues. No injuries were noted."

Chief Brad Davidson and Crew Ensured that the Fire Didn't Spread Beyond the Truck Cab.
Many Hands Make Light Work, as Does Training and Preparation, LJFD Put Out the fire with Precision.
The Smoldering Fire Could Be Seen from Colorado Ave in the Parking lot between The First National Bank and The former La Junta Tribune Democrat Building TuesdayAfternoon.
