Kenneth Edward McCombs, Jr.

Kenneth Edward McCombs, Jr., 53, of Cheraw passed away on June 4, 2021 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta. He was born on February 28, 1968 in Pueblo.

Kenny was a hardworking man, an amazing father and husband. He had a passion for team roping, loved taking his sons to motocross races, driving semis across country with his family and taking his youngest son to rodeos to ride bulls. He loved all his kids and grandkids and was very proud of them.

He is survived by his wife, Loree Dietrich of the Cheraw home; children, Denton (Mariah) McCombs of Pueblo; Wyatt McCombs of Pueblo; Blake McCombs of Cheraw; step-children, Katlyn Dietrich of Pueblo; Denton (Michaela) Dietrich of Cheraw; grandchildren, Makenna, Colton, Trenton McCombs; Melody Salazar; mother, Emma Jean (Joe) Johnson of Pueblo; siblings, Karen (Dennis) Martin of Boone, CO; Albert (Laura) McCombs of Pueblo; niece, Teresa Jessop; nephews, Dennis & Dub Martin and Jon McCombs. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Edward McCombs, Sr. and niece, Emily McCombs.

A memorial service will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Cowboy Church in La Junta.
