ENTREPRENEUR BUSINESS FORUM PRESENTED JUNE 23 IN ROCKY FORD

Would you like to hear how a small-town kid from rural Missouri built a multimillion-dollar business without a college degree; wealthy parents; an internet marketing strategy; an Amazon store to sell from; or a business background?

Plan to be present at the Entrepreneur Business Forum being held on Wednesday, June 23rd, at the Otero County Annex Community Room at 411 North 10th Street in Rocky Ford.

Chad Scott, entrepreneur, businessman, and author of “The Poster Boy: Small Towns, Big Ideas, and the Reality of Becoming an Entrepreneur” will be present to share his story with youth and adults.  Scott built Ultimate Team Products from a few posters in his dorm room into a multi-million dollar business with 30 locations and 130+ team members.  He will share practical business lessons designed to take your business idea from a concept to a lucrative business.

All 5th – 12th grade students are welcome to the free session from 1:00-4:00 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served, and each student attending will receive a signed copy of the Youth Edition of The Poster Boy.

In the evening from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Chad will be presenting to start up business owners, as well as established business people – or if you just have a business idea or want to hear Chad speak, he offers attendees real-world advice through an exploration of the problems Scott has faced as he built his business.  The session is free and open to anyone, light refreshments will be served, and Chad will be signing copies of his book for each participant.

The Entrepreneur Business Forum is sponsored by the Southeast Colorado Youth Entrepreneurship Project (YEP); La Junta Chamber of Commerce; Small Business Development Center; Rocky Ford Chamber of Commerce; and Small Town Project/Rocky Ford.
