Cheraw Students Learn About Jobs From Local Volunteers

Cheraw School had some visitors for a fun and exciting job exposure event on Friday, June 4, 2021!

The school was joined by Todd Quick (Chief of Police) and Tyson Duran (Police Officer) from the La Junta Police Department, Jim Collins and Tyler Collins from the Cheraw Fire Department, Robbie Quick (Nurse/ER Director) from Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, and Brandon Bass (Lab Director) from Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center.

Cheraw’s summer school students had a fun and educational experience learning about safety and germs.

They had a chance to learn about some different professions as well! Cheraw School staff and students would like to thank all of our volunteers for coming out and making our event memorable and educational! Thank you!
