Tallest American Flag Pole in Colorado Gets A New Flag Veterans Day 

A Veterans Day Flag Raising Planned To Present New Flag To The Community. 

Today, November 11th, the Swink community will gather to honor our area veterans.

Gilbert Davis, owner of Davis Auto Repair donated the new flag.

The public is invited to join the Swink community in honoring our veterans during the flag raising ceremony today at 11 am.

Tallest flag pole in Colorado These images were captured during the flag dedication held on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2018.

Wayne Walter, with Walter Excavation, donated the flag pole in 2018. The flag itself has been replaced a couple times already. This year, Gilbert Davis, owner of Davis Auto Repair donated the replacement flag.

Tallest flag pole in Colorado It took two cranes to erect the flag pole located on the corner of US Highway 50 and Columbia Ave. (County Rd 24.5) It was dedicated on Veterans Day 2018.

Tallest flag pole in Colorado Despite the sleet and snow there was a large turnout for the flag dedication. 

The flag is a very popular photography subject for community members and tourists alike.
