Creekside Smokehouse Owner Damon Nichols Cuts The Ribbon with the La Junta Chamber of Commerce July 20, 2021 at the Grand Opening of Creekside Smokehouse. 

Stacy Ayala painted faces for several hours at the Grand Opening Ceremony. 

Brittany Lopez brought the bounce house to keep the kids bouncing all afternoon.

Big Country 92.1 FM did a radio remote.

Danny Yochum, Bob Smykowski, Damon Nichols, Brian Cazares, Dax Kirk, and Isaac Morkus even found time to pose for a picture.

DJ Buddy_Breezy kept the music playing on the newly built outdoor patio space.

Carlos Aragon Jr also known as DJ Buddy_Breezy is now booking performances.

Isaac Morkus was the first Full Rack of Ribs Challenger; he was very enthusiastic and even took pictures of his meal.

Brian Cazares was the second entry in the Creekside Smokehouse Full Rack of Ribs Challenge and the First Champion.

Brian Cazares won the rib eating contest. His record stands at one hour and five minutes.
