Previous Notice...

Southeast Colorado Power Members.

July, 30, 2021

A major Tri-State transmission line is currently down between Boone and Lamar affecting our members and most municipal utilities along the way.

The backup transmission line is not able to maintain the voltage demand expected in the coming hours while a repair is rapidly underway.

You may experience either a brown or black out between now and into the early evening with hopes it will be back up as soon as possible.

To minimize the impact on yourself and others, any reduction in electricity use during this time would be helpful.

Tri-State apologizes to everyone affected for this major disruption and inconvenience.
