Otero Dance Studio Classes Starting Sept 7

LA JUNTA — Otero Dance Studio, formerly the OJC Dance Studio, is reopening for classes. Registration is currently open.

Otero Dance Studio originally opened in 1981 and is celebrating the reopening and 40th Anniversary this fall by presenting the "Dance With Joy" recital in December.

Darlene Blackford always told her dancers to "Dance with Joy" before they went on stage. This is something that Jennifer Jackson and her team continue to strive for as they pass on their love for dance.

“Regardless if our dancers continue on to dance in college, into a career, or just for fun as an adult, we want them to always have a love and appreciation of the art of dance and look back on their dancing days with fondness,” said Jackson. “We invite all OJC Dance alumni to join us for a fun recital as we look back at our favorite dances from the past 40 years!”
