Obituary

JoAnn Falduto, 83, of Rocky Ford, CO, went to her eternal home on Friday, September 10th, at Sangre De Cristo Hospice House, Pueblo.

JoAnn was born in Rocky Ford, CO on November 20, 1937, a daughter of the late Anna Virginia (Wypinger) and John Frederick Dell.

She attended Rocky Ford schools, graduating in 1956 and continued her education in nursing.

She became the wife of Charles Falduto in 1960. They later moved to Leadville, CO, where after a lifetime of service as a Registered Nurse she retired from St. Vincent Hospital.

She was a member of the Holy Family Parish for 17 years and the Secular Francescan Order, a minister of Ucrest, took communion to shut - ins, was a member of the Catholic Daughter's, Saint Ann Circle, Saint Dominic and a very active member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church.

After Charles retired, they moved back to Rocky Ford to help care for her parents. She volunteered at the Valley Hospital, Salvation Army, Crossroads, RSVP and belonged to the Ocuvites and Hospice for over 35 years and Cancer Correlation.

Jo Ann loved animals and traveling. Among her many trips, she and her sister Betty traveled to the Holy Land. She always made time for her family and friends and was always willing to help anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 nephews.

She is survived by:
Sister Betty, wife of Dwight French, of Sheridan, WY;
Nephew Marvin, husband of Brenda French, of Thornton, CO;
Nephew Shawn, husband of Tracy French, of Sheridan, WY;
Great-Nephew Jacob, husband of Tonjua French, of Buffalo, WY;
Great-Nephew Paul, (Krystle Gaborski) French, of Sheridan, WY;
Great-Niece Kadynce French, of Buffalo, WY.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 17th at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Soosai officiating. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
