William Served in the Army where he was a trained to be cook until 1962. He started his own Company the Savoie Drywall Business and did that in California and Colorado for several years. When he couldn’t do Drywall anymore, he finished out his life with farming and ranching.

He loved making things with his hands and spending time with family and friends. He loved going on trips with his wife where they traveled all over picking up antiques and visiting places that they enjoyed. When they came home, they would decorate it with the antiques they picked up and were great conversation pieces because this is where Bill would take them down and show people how they worked and what they were used for.

He loved being on the farm where he took care of his horses and cows. He also enjoyed the fields where he grew hay. Anytime the kids came down or grandkids he would take them down to the farm and have them help get the irrigation done. With farming he always said there is work to be done and would be up before the sun so he could have breakfast ready for everyone.

He will always be remembered for his great stories that he talked about growing up and the jokes that he always had. He could always make people smile.
