Obituary

Charlene Diane Trujillo, 64, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Tuesday, November 2nd, at Memorial Health System Central, Colorado Springs.

Charlene was born in Delta, CO on August 7, 1957, a daughter of the late Jennie (Terrazas) Miera and Joe Castaneda.

Charlene met the love of her life Leonard in 1979, while working in Don's Bar in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Two years later they ran off to Las Vegas to become man and wife and were happily married for 41 years.

They spent their quality time fishing anywhere they could. Once they were out on the lake it was hard to get them to leave. They loved spending time together outdoors or just out driving around talking and listening to the oldies.

Though she only birthed three children of her own. Charlene was an "adopted" mother to many. Over the course of years she had several children call her mom. They always knew they had someone to depend or go to in their time of need or happy times.

Anyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting her, will tell you that she was the most blunt, loving person you'd ever met. Though her love was tough at times. She made sure to love with all her heart.

She will be greatly missed by many for the years to come.
