Las Animas Dia De Los Muertos Art Show 2021

The John W. Rawlings Museum hosted the Dia De Los Muertos Art Show on October 30, 2021. The Art Show was planned by the Las Animas Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development Committee as part of a day of celebration, which included a car show, for the people of Las Animas.

Art show entries came from Las Animas elementary students and artists across Southeast Colorado.

La Junta resident artist Stacey Ayala, who is well known for her face painting, had a standout entry in the show - The Black Dahlia.
