Leonard Roy Gonzales, 65, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Tuesday, November 9th, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, Pueblo County.

Leonard was born in Rocky Ford, CO on July 7, 1956, a son of the late Helen (Baca) and Timoteo Gonzales.

He graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1974.

He was the husband of RoseAnn (Gutierrez) Gonzales, they were married on June 9, 1979 in Rocky Ford, CO.

Leonard lived in Rocky Ford all his life and worked for Bent Fort in La Junta over 25 years and was an avid Bronco fan. Leonard also loved old westerns. If you needed a helping hand he was always there. Leonard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed his many friends and will be missed by family and friends.

He is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Mariah Gaucin, Ramiah Valdez, Crystal (Manuel) Bojorquez, Tushena Sosa, Shania Gonzales, Tequila Gonzales, Marianna Gonzales, Christopher (Selena) Gonzales, Senai Gonzales, Amorie Romo, Briah Gonzales, Mila Espinoza, Michael Espinoza, 2.0, Layla Fernandez, Easton Fernandez; 15 great - grandchildren; niece: Angela Cortes and nephew: Albert Cardenas.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; great - grandson: Xavier Maya; parents - in - law: Lee & Jennie Gutierrez; brother - in - law: Poncho; sister - in - law: Paula; brother - in - law: Michael; best friend: Jack Baca; cousin: Eddie Baca; cousin: Charlotte LeBlanc.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am on Friday, November 19th at the 4- H building at Rocky Ford Fairgrounds in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor David Belisle officiating.
