Sunset at Ryan's Pond in Rocky Ford Colorado

Photos Taken at Sunset October 2, 2021 at Ryan's Pond #3 State Wildlife Area in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Ryan's Ponds is a State Wildlife Area located in Southeast Colorado. The wildlife area includes three actual ponds, Ryan Pond, East Ryan Pond, and Big Mac Pond. It is bordered by the Arkansas River to the South and the Fort Lyon Canal to the North. According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, this recreational area offers Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Hiking, and Wildlife Viewing. For hunters, game includes Deer, Rabbit, Pheasant, Bobwhite Quail, Dove, and Waterfowl.

Just one mile down the road is another great Southeast Colorado Wildlife Area, The McClelland Tract.
