Obituary

Brian Dean Vigil, 38, of La Junta, CO, passed away Sunday, December 5th, at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital, Ft. Collins.

Brian was born in Rocky Ford, CO on January 17, 1983, a son of Alice (Montoya) and Darrol Vigil.

He attended schools in Rocky Ford.

He worked for Lewis Bolt and Nut for 20 years.

Brian enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling with his car club to various lowrider shows. You could find Brian hanging out in the garage admiring his car. He enjoyed doing anything involving vehicles, whether it was his own or helping friends and family with theirs. In his down time he enjoyed spending the day fishing or cruising with the top down on a beautiful day.

Brian was very talented, he mastered anything he touched. He was always good company, acting silly and making you laugh at any given moment. If you needed help Brian was there. We all were so blessed to have known Brian and his ability to light up a room. He was a one of a kind type of guy and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by:
Parents Darrol and Alice Vigil of Rocky Ford, CO;
Sister Julie Montoya, of Pueblo, CO;
Brother Anthony Vigil, of Pueblo, CO;
Niece Kyra Vigil, of Pueblo, CO;
Nephew Esias Archuleta, of Pueblo, CO;
Nephew Mathias Archuleta, of Pueblo, CO.

He is also survived by Angela Martinez and children: Thomas, Sicily, Sophia and Elijah and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. A Rosary Service will be held at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 15th at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Soosai officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
