Obituary

Dorothy Dean Dillon Gomez, born in Crowley County on Jan. 23, 1929. She found her dream home in Sugar City in 1996. She moved to her final address among the rest of the angels on December 7, 2021.

Dorothy will be joining her deceased husband Abel Gomez, whom she missed so dearly; as well as her parents Henry and Victoria Dillon and son Thomas Passig. Sisters Viola Patton, Midgie Green, Marge Henderson, Velma Corum, Letha Bond and brothers Bud Dillon and Jim Dillon.

She is leaving behind children Dan (Carol) Passig, Paula Pacino, Sandy (Daryl) Geringer, and Mike (Barbara) Passig. Grandchildren Bob (Jen) Manning, Tracey (Nate) Rector, Stacey Marsh, Troy (Dawn) Pacino, Misty (Troy) Reeves, Kyle Pacino, Kim (Matt) Schlegel, Chris (Wendy) Geringer, Thomas (Isabel) Passig Jr., Johnathon (Tammi) Passig, Steven (Megan) Passig, Michael Passig Jr., and Kevin Passig. There are 14 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She did not wish a service to be held only the following announcement: DO NOT grieve when I’m gone, pass from life into death, free from the world’s sin and strife. When you crave for some comfort, a kiss, or caress, don’t think of me gone, only changed my address. I know that I’m missed, and I wish I was here for you to talk to, as someone who loved, listened, and cared.
