Bald Eagles in Southeast Colorado

Bald Eagles are actually common in Southeast Colorado. They sure know how to weather a Winter storm as they spend much of the Winter on the plains.

Blue Herons are also a common sight in Southeast Colorado, however usually they are near or in the water. This one stoops in the prairie while the snow falls.
