Obituary

Barbara Jo Lovisone, 80, of Manzanola, CO, passed away Sunday, January 2nd in Colorado Springs.

Barbara was born in Alliance, NB on February 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Marjorie Ammons and Rynard Iversen.

She was the wife of Robert Darrel Lovisone of 61 years, they were married at Olathe, Kansas on October 29, 1960. They renewed their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary. She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Manzanola, serving on the newsletter committee.

She worked for doctors in Englewood for many years. She worked for Nelson and Coleson in data entry. She was a Business Owner for 35 years owning Video One in Littleton and Manzanola. She joined the Video Software Dealers Association. Barbara was also in the Lyons Club, was a member of the Senior Center, she loved to play cards, including solitare. She was a polio survivor. She spent her time in the garden, she also enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her husband Robert Darrel Lovisone, daughter Dee Lovisone, wife of Jason Irwin, of Manzanola, CO; sister Norma Jean, wife of Gerald Kimbel, of Martinsburg, WV; sister Janice, widow of Gerald Lane, of Wacross,GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Cassie Lynn Rodriguez of Denver, Matthew Stevens of Holiday, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Darrel Lovisone in February 6, 2007.
