He was born to Manuel and Jennie Torrez, June 13, 1954, in La Junta, Colorado. Gabino was 67, years of age.

He is survived by his children Valente Gabriel Torrez and his wife Michelle of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Alejos Torrez of La Junta, Colorado, Mary Grace Torrez of La Junta, Colorado, Joe Paiz of La Junta, Colorado, grandchildren, Valente Torrez, Jr. Manuel Torrez, Rebecca Torrez, Joe Torrez, Tahlia Torrez, Solana Torrez, and Alexsandra Torrez.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Torrez.

He was an amazing father and husband. He took great care of his wife. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved traveling and the mountains. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and a special person. He will be missed.

A 6:00 P.M. Visitation followed by a 7:00 P.M. rosary will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick’s Church in La Junta, Colorado.

A Funeral Mass will be held the following Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick’s Church in La Junta, Colorado. Followed by a Committal at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta. www.johnsonromero.com
