During The regular public hearing held on Monday, May 9, 2022 the Otero County Commissioners approved the minutes from their previous meeting as well as their consent agenda and payroll and monthly payments.

Minutes from April 25, 2022:

The commissioners approved the Third Amended Construction Contract with SM Construction.

The Commissioners Approved of an Intergovernmental Agreement Between Otero and Bent County that would share expenses related to the Veteran's Service Officer position.

The Commissioners approved a contract for document scanning services from RMMI.

The Otero County Commissioners Approved a letter expressing their strong support for the US 50 SHIFT project, which would "consist of 12 westbound and eastbound passing lanes along the corridor. Ultimately improving safety, operational efficiency, mobility and transit travel along the critical freight corridor."
