ICE CREAM SOCIAL AT BELL PARK

The Rawlings Heritage Center is proud to announce the 7th annual FREE Ice Cream Social for kids, which will be held on July 12th in Bell Park from 9am to 11am.

Homemade ice cream, donated by Linda Bourne and Kathleen Tomlin, is always delicious for kids AND parents.

The kids have fun ringing the school bells, visiting the one-room North Gageby Schoolhouse, and playing old fashioned games. Games include jacks, marbles, hopscotch, jump rope and hula hoops.

We have a new bell to ring this year – the Patton Ranch dinner bell donated by Sam Turner (see picture). This event is sponsored by the Rawlings Heritage Center & Museum and the Bent County/Las Animas Public Library partnership and is FREE. If you have any questions, call 719-456-6066.
