Swink Welcome Sign Repainted for Eagle Scout Project

Kyle Wren Eagle Scout project seconews.org Boys Scouts Troupe #238 is chartered by The Swink Lions Club. The repainting of the sign, which is also a flag holder and antique plow was Kyle Wren's Eagle Scout project this year. The group completed the painting project Saturday afternoon, which included fresh paint on the picnic tables.

Kyle Wren Eagle Scout project seconews.org Seconews found time between events to talk with the Wren Boys while they painted. The sign that doubles as a flag display on holidays was originally built and installed as John Jackson's Eagle Scout Project in 2015, according to Derek Wren.

Kyle Wren Eagle Scout Project seconews.org Knowing that this sign represents our community to thousands of travelers is a great reason to see our youth improving our communities reputation generation after generation.

Seconews would like to personally thank the Swink Lions Club for chartering and continuing to support our youth through Boy Scouts Troup #238.

Swink Lions Club seconews.org It's so rare these days to see our boys build the foundation for our men to build their service upon. Giving to our community through teaching future generations that a days hard work can yield years of warm community reputation is priceless.

Kyle Wren seconews.org Seconews Celebrates Our Community Volunteers Who Thanklessly Serve. Like the Swink Lions Club, Boy Scouts Troup #238, and soon to be Eagle Scout, Kyle Wren.
