La Junta Veterans Day Ceremony Held in Honor of Those Who Served

Description: It was necessary personnel only at the Veterans Day Ceremony in La Junta. Members of the American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, and City Council attended.

Veterans Were Honored in La Junta at La Junta Intermediate School

Members of American Legion Post #9 Raised the Flag During the Ceremony.

Sponsored by The La Junta Intermediate School, The City of La Junta, The American Legion Post #9, and the La Junta Chamber of Commerce.

The Agenda had several changes as extra precautions were being taken by event organizers.

Instead of student council remarks, La Junta Mayor Pro-Tem gave a brief speech honoring veterans. 

La Junta First Presbyterian Church Reverend MJ Romano gave the invocation and the benediction during the ceremony.
