La Junta Senior Golf League - Results for June 6, 2023

The La Junta Senior Golf League met at the La Junta Golf Course on June 6 for 9 holes of golf. There were 42 players present with three new players for this year: Ken Ward, Billy Hugh, and James Maes. There were six teams of 5 players and three teams of 4 players. We played a modified scramble golf format.

In addition, a challenge chip was set up on hole #6 and a challenge putt on hole #1.  No one was able to get the challenge chip; the challenge putt was holed by one golfer, Cathy Bollacker.

Next Tuesday, June 13, the league will meet again and play 9 holes of a modified scramble format with each player getting one toss per round to be used when the ball is already on the green.

Sign up is 9:15 to 9:30am. Teams are picked at 9:45 and play will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 by 9:30 if you will be late for signing up but will be at the course in time for play at 10:00 a.m.
