La Junta Senior Golf League Results September 26, 2023

The La Junta Golf Course Senior League met on Tuesday, September 26, for nine holes of golf.  There were 43 members present and we introduced new players Mike Hamm and Bob Thurston.  The golfers were split up into nine teams: two teams of four persons and seven teams of five persons.  

We played two different games simultaneously: each team played a regular scramble game and on each hole there was either a designated putt or chip (each team then scrambled from that designated spot). The teams kept the two scores for the two games.

Next Tuesday, October 3, 2023, we will meet again for another nine holes of golf. We will play a scramble game, but will utilize string on the greens to better the score.

A reminder that Tuesday, October 10, will be the last day of the Senior League 2023 season.  We will celebrate with special games on each hole and cupcakes after play.
