La Junta Senior Golf Resuts June 4, 2024

The La Junta Senior Golf League gathered on June 4 for nine holes of scramble golf.  There were 46 senior golfers divided into nine teams (eight teams of five and one team of six).  Curt Kelley was welcomed as a new player this week.  We played a scramble format, however, there was an extra challenge on hole #4 as each golfer could use only a 9-iron club for the entire hole.  We had some good golfers because over half of the teams were able to par that hole!

The challenge chip on hole #7 went unclaimed again this week. The challenge putt on hole #3 was made by Mary Lou Day, Rod Soden, and Mark Johnston.
