La Junta Senior Golf League Results July 9, 2024

The La Junta Senior Golf League met on July 9 for nine holes of scramble golf.  There were 49 golfers present, nine teams of 5 players and one team of 4 players. This week we had bonus chips on all of the odd number holes; if anyone on the team made the chip the team score was lowered by one.  The regular challenge putt on hole #2 was made by Jay Bollacker, CaSandra Thomas, Ross Bender, John Lockhart, Fred Boettcher, and Clark Claycomb.

Next Tuesday, July 16, we will play the three-club game.  Each golfer gets to take three clubs only out on the course. We will begin sign up at 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. Teams are picked at 8:45 a.m. and play will begin at 9:00 a.m.   No one will be added to the teams after 8:45, when teams are picked; if there is a chance of being late for sign up, give Cathy a call or text at 719-469-0691 so you can be put on the list.
