La Junta Senior Golf League Results Oct 8, 2024

The La Junta Senior Golf League met on October 8 for a celebration of the 2024 season. We had 36 golfers and played nine holes of scramble golf. Each hole had a different task assigned that was randomly picked from a grab bag. For example, a task would be everyone on the team moved up a tee box, or you couldn’t use a putter on a certain hole, or your team got two ball tosses.

We had a challenge putt on hole #4 that was made by Cathy Bollacker, Dennis Golding, Janette Bender, Larry Herrera and Mike Bauserman.  The golfers had two chances to make a challenge chip (hole #1 and the other on hole #6).

Thank you to CaSandra Thomas who provided the cupcakes after play. Also, Jay and Cathy Bollacker and Mike Bauserman appreciate the thank you cards and gift certificates. It’s been a fun season of golf.
