La Junta City Council Public Meeting Interrupted With Pornographic Images 

Monday evening's La Junta City Council Public Meeting held on Zoom and shared on Facebook was interrupted by the modern day equivalent of a prank call...A really dirty one.

Toilet humor may have caused a pause in business and a reset of the meeting, but council still attended to their duties.

At about 7:17 pm the council meeting got back underway after a quick restart on Zoom and the removal of the first 14+ minutes of video from Facebook due to the profane images displayed through screen share on Zoom.

Mayor Jeffri Pruyn and Council Members apologized to anyone who saw the images, and made note that they immediately stopped the Zoom session and removed the Facebook video.

There were less than 50 viewers on Facebook when Council disconnected and restarted the meeting.

We captured the video and removed the pornographic images to help maintain public access to the meeting. Here is the February 1st 2021 La Junta City Council meeting in it's entirety.

This video clip was removed from Facebook by council as it originally contained disturbing pornographic images.
