BOETTCHER AND DANIELS SCHOLARSHIP FINALIST 

A graduating senior at La Junta High School has received exciting news!  Weston Buhr was recently notified that he is a finalist for not just one – but two – very prestigious college scholarships. 

In the next few weeks, Weston will be completing the virtual interviews for both the Boettcher Foundation Scholarship and the Daniels Scholarship.  Both scholarships are awarded to highly-motivated and high potential graduating seniors across Colorado.   

Weston is an outstanding student, and is known as an accomplished pianist performing beautiful music at his yearly Christmas concerts.  Additionally, Weston is a little busier this year, as he is serving the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America organization (FCCLA) as the National Vice President of Community Service.  Weston is the son of Dan and Kellie Buhr of La Junta.
