Update from Southeast Colorado Power Association:

"We are working on a large outage that is affecting everyone on our Las Animas substation. The problem has been found and repairs are being made now so hopefully we will have power restored soon."

Areas of Bent County have been affected by a power outage. Those without power in need of warm shelter can go to Las Animas Elementary School at 530 Poplar Ave, Las Animas, CO 81054. If you need a ride contact the Bent County Sheriff's Office 719 456 1363.
