Prowers County Sheriff Investigates Death in LJPD Holding Cell

On November 1, 2021, at approximately 9:30 pm a 46-year-old male was found deceased in the La Junta Police Department Holding Cell.

The incident is currently being investigated by Prowers County Sheriff's Office.

More information will be made available once the investigation is completed.
