LJPD Arrest Breaking and Entering Suspect - Seeking Info

On February 5th, 2022 at about 12:14pm, the La Junta Police Department received a call from a vigilant citizen who reported two suspects were kicking in a door to her neighbor's house near 12th St and Bradish Ave in La Junta, CO. Officers arrived on scene shortly thereafter.

With the help of the neighborhood community, officers located one of the suspects, 22-year-old Eleazar "Trini" Lopez, who was taken into custody. Lopez was arrested on two outstanding warrants as well as charges of 2nd Degree Burglary, Attempted theft, criminal mischief, and false reporting to authorities.
