Obituary

Jim Allen Hall was born May 22nd, 1997 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Ray Dean and Jennifer Hall. After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Jim left his earthly home to be with the Lord on February 26th, 2022.  While Jim spent his early years in Victor, Colorado, he spent the majority of his life on the family ranch on Horse Creek in Sugar City, Colorado.

He graduated from Cheraw High School in 2016 and went on to attend Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and obtained a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency as an Electrical Lineworker. After earning the certificate, Jim went on to his apprenticeship program to work and travel around the Western United States.

Jimmy, as he was known by many, had the most infectious smile and beautiful blonde hair.  Jim was truly a ray of sunshine. Jim was athletically inclined, but he especially loved to play basketball. During his senior year of high school, Jim led his team to the playoffs.

Two years ago, Jimmy met his girlfriend and best friend, Savannah Vigil. Savannah and Jim had many adventures together and recently brought a new member into the family, a puppy named River.  While Jimmy’s time here on earth was short, we all rejoice that he is with his heavenly father. We are all looking forward to the day that we will see Jim again.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his Grandmothers Mary Hall and Barbara Adams. He is survived by his parents Ray Dean and Jennifer Hall, his big brother Rod Hall, his girlfriend Savannah Vigil, his maternal Grandparents Tom and Phyliss Adams and his Paternal Grandfather David Hall as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins all who will miss his smile and his outlook on life.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 3rd at 10 am at the Valley Community Church in Rocky Ford.

A Livestream of his memorial service will be shared on the Cheraw Pride Facebook Group

Graveside services will be held at noon Friday, March 4th at the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.

Jimmy was an avid sports fan, so you are encouraged to wear your favorite high school or sport team colors.
