Description: Two motorcycle riders were transported for injuries sustained during a hit and run crash Saturday. Multiple Agencies Responded and LJPD seeks information.
LJPD Seeking Info on Hit and Run Motorcycle Crash
The La Junta Police Department Released the following:
"On 04/09/2022 at approximately 1124, La Junta Police Department, Colorado State Patrol, La Junta Fire and EMS, and the Otero County Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 50 at Bent Avenue regarding a single motorcycle accident."
"The motorcycle’s two riders were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. Witnesses stated a vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus red in color, made a left hand turn from West Bound Highway 50 in front of the East bound motorcycle."
"The vehicle did not stop and left the scene. If you witnessed the accident, please contact the La Junta Police Department at 719-384-2525 with any information."
