LJPD Seeking Info on Hit and Run Motorcycle Crash

The La Junta Police Department Released the following:

"On 04/09/2022 at approximately 1124, La Junta Police Department, Colorado State Patrol, La Junta Fire and EMS, and the Otero County Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 50 at Bent Avenue regarding a single motorcycle accident."

"The motorcycle’s two riders were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. Witnesses stated a vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus red in color, made a left hand turn from West Bound Highway 50 in front of the East bound motorcycle."
