Rocky Ford Fire Department VS Vehicle/Equipment Fires

"Today (4/30/22) at approximately 10:25 am we were paged to CR Z and CR 19.5 for a pickup truck on fire."

Rocky Ford Fire Department VS Vehicle/Equipment Fires"Upon arrival vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and determined to be a complete loss.  We quickly extinguished the fire and kept fire from spreading."

Rocky Ford Fire Department VS Vehicle/Equipment Fires"Cause of fire determined to be a engine mechanical failure.  All units cleared scene at approximately 11:30 am."

Rocky Ford Fire Department VS Vehicle/Equipment Fires"Today (4/30/23) at approximately 12:44 pm we were paged to a tractor fire on CR 20 at the Highline Canal."

"Upon arrival we found a backhoe tractor fully engulfed in flames and determined a total loss."

Rocky Ford Fire Department VS Vehicle/Equipment Fires"We quickly extinguished the fire, and remained on scene to keep fire from spreading to adjacent prairie.  Cause of fire undetermined.  No injuries were reported.  All fire units cleared scene at approximately 1:30 pm."
