Obituary

Ellinore Eva Cotton, of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered into rest June 15, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born May 10, 1933 in Konigsberg, Prussia.

She is survived by her daughter Liz Roberts of La Junta, Colorado, Friends, Judy Padilla of Rocky Ford, Colorado who was her caregiver and a special friend that she loved as a daughter for 35 years, Amady Apricio, Jennifer Logan, John Rocha, Misty Padilla, Katrina and Manuel Padilla Rocha who had a special place in her heart, Donna Quinlivan, Darla Mason Larry Trujillo, Freda Demarest and many other friends and her cats and her daughter’s dog.

Ellinore is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald E. Cotton and son Frank David Cotton, and brother Klaus Jacoby.

She enjoyed going to Cripple Creek and loved animals especially her cats. She also enjoyed going to sporting events, she also loved watching METV and Golden Girls, her flowers and German food. She helped her son at the Bottle Shoppe Liquor Store and loved his barbequing. She will be missed.

Her family would like to thank Sangre De Cristo Hospital, Memorial Central Hospital for the care they provided to her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.

A 12:00 P.M. Graveside will be held Tuesday June 21, 2022 at the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
