Santa Fe Trail Exhibit at Otero Museum in La Junta July + Aug.

SANTA FE TRAIL EXHIBIT:  Our newest exhibit includes Ron Dulle’s photographs donated by the Bent’s Fort Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association. Mr. Dulle was an accomplished photographer from Denver with many exhibits throughout the Southwest, focusing on the Santa Fe Trail.

In addition to Dulle’s photographs, the Museum is honored to have on loan from the National Santa Fe Trail Association the 200-year Timeline Display.  Developed by the Santa Fe Trail Association for the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Santa Fe Trail, the Timeline is 20 feet long, eight feet high and features over 150 significant places, people, and events, with illustrations and brief commentary.  The Timeline will be on display during July and August.

Stop by to see this special display as well as other historical artifacts housed in the Otero Museum.
