Bert William Huff, 84, passed away on July 19, 2022, at his La Junta home. He was born on March 22, 1938, in Las Animas to John William & Pauline F. (Spear) Huff.

Bert worked constructions for many years and worked on farms. He enjoyed collecting coins and riding his motorcycle. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Bert is survived by his children, Robert Huff of Grandy, NC; Shanna Sue Huff of LA; Melodee Casiano of Manzanola; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Alta Davis and James Huff; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harry & Charlie Huff, sister, Julia Holcomb and infant son, Jimmy John Huff.

Graveside service will be Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery with military honors by the Las Animas American Legion Post #6.
