Internet links:  Before I send out these emails, I check the links to make sure they are active.  However, links do change from time to time, so the link(s) I sent out now may not be the same later. 

1.      Recall/Outbreak Information:  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have websites dedicated to recall and outbreak information.  You can find that important information below:

2.      COVID-19 Information

a.       COVID-19 Rate Status:  As of the time of this writing, Crowley is in Green Level and Otero is in Blue Level for the one week cumulative incidence rate  (COVID-19 dial dashboard | Colorado COVID-19 Updates). 

b.      CDPHE Weekly COVID-19 Update:  I receive the following information weekly from CDPHE, and below is information from the report I received earlier today.  Please note that this is state-wide data: 

Review of current COVID-19 situation

(Note: This weekly summary includes data reported through the previous day. Our hospital data currently is reported weekly. For the most current COVID-19 data, visit our website in the links provided.)

Data reported weekly:

145 - Number of persons currently hospitalized for confirmed COVID, 52% of those currently hospitalized are unvaccinated

327 - Number of new hospital admissions for the week of 09/11/22 (a +4% change in admissions from the previous week)

Data reported daily:

518 - New cases reported

23 - New death among cases reported (since last week’s report)

4,718 - Total number of tests (commercial and state labs) data reported on 09/19/2022

5.12% - 7-day moving average positivity 

4,592,269 - People immunized with one dose 

4,131,828 - People fully immunized

11,538,485 - Cumulative doses administered view vaccine data
