La Junta Fire Dept. VS Structure Fire on Rd BB
At 0953 this morning we responded to a reported structure fire in the 22000 blk of Rd BB.
Upon arrival Chief Davidson found the deck on the back side of the house on fire.
Eng 1 arrived and pulled a cross lay for initial fire attack.
Quick knock down of the fire kept it from spreading into the house. Tender arrived to supply crew water.
Crews did an extensive overhaul to make sure there were no hidden fires in the deck.
Cause is under investigation.
